Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 29 April 2025, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan hosted a business dialogue titled “Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) – Uzbekistan: A New Vector of Cooperation.”

Opening the event, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber Dilshod Rasulov emphasized that in light of global economic transformations, deepening trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and EAEU countries has become strategically significant.

The dialogue brought together business representatives from the EAEU, including Sergey Krasilnikov, Vice President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and Vladimir Salamatov, Chairman of the EAEU Business Council Committee.

In their remarks, they highlighted the importance of industrial cooperation, expanded mutual trade, innovation, and joint educational initiatives. The participants stressed the value of sustainable economic collaboration, skills development, and technology exchange.

A key outcome of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Uzbekistan’s Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System (under the “Center for Educational Projects” Project Office) and Russia’s National Qualifications Development Agency.

This memorandum aims to foster mutual recognition of professional qualifications, align educational systems, and promote labor mobility within the EAEU market.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan noted that the dialogue served as a vital platform for strengthening business ties, advancing joint initiatives, and expanding long-term cooperation between entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and EAEU member states.
