Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Abdusalom Khatamov met with the First Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology of Oman, Hamis Al-Shamahy.

According to Dunyo agency, the meeting focused on establishing direct air connections between the two countries and developing relationships with Omani logistics companies and ports.

The Omani side expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of its visit to Uzbekistan in July of this year and showed interest in enhancing cooperation across all sectors.

The Omani representative confirmed support for initiatives aimed at developing mutual trade and economic relations between Central Asian states and Gulf Arab countries.
