Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Davron Vakhabov, visited the Nasaji Textile Factory, a textile enterprise located in Afghanistan’s Baghlan province.

During the visit, discussions focused on cooperation, the development of export-import operations, and the expansion of interaction in the textile sector.

Nasaji Textile Factory is one of Afghanistan’s largest and oldest textile plants. The company specializes in cotton processing, yarn production, fabric manufacturing, and finished textile goods. Currently, the factory employs over 350 workers, and its production volume continues to grow steadily. The factory supplies both the domestic market and international exports.

As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to establish cooperation, share expertise, expand production capacity, and develop mutual supplies. Plans include the export of finished and semi-finished textile products, as well as the import of cotton fiber and yarn to Uzbekistan.

The signed agreements will open new opportunities for the development of the textile industry and strengthen trade and economic ties between the two countries.
