Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A pilot project on introduction of online cash registers has been launched in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan.

According to the State Tax Committee, a joint resolution of the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications and the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan “On procedure for conducting a pilot project for introduction of online cash registers providing data on online payments” was signed.

According to the document, from 1 August 2018, a pilot project was launched.

Fiskal Ma’lumotlarni Avtomatizatsiyalash Tizimi is defined as the operator of the fiscal module (FMS) of the automated control system for revenue receipt in the sphere of trade and services, through the use of online cash registers, data on payments to the state tax service within the framework of a pilot project .

On 29 September 2017, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures to further improve use of cash registers with fiscal memory”.

According to the document, Uzbekistan will gradually introduce modern models of cash registers with the function of online data transfer to the tax authorities from 2018.
