Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A roundtable meeting was held at the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of the business community of the Republic of Slovenia, led by Marjana Mažerik, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.

More than 20 Slovenian companies representing sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, construction, tourism, pharmaceuticals, machine engineering, information technology, and other industries took part in the event.

The Slovenian delegation was introduced to Uzbekistan's investment potential, the existing incentives and preferences for investors, as well as measures for supporting and protecting entrepreneurs.

During the roundtable, specific project initiatives were discussed in areas such as geology, agriculture, textiles and leather industry, pharmaceuticals, and housing construction.

B2B and B2G meetings were held, during which participants discussed opportunities for expanding business cooperation.

Both sides expressed mutual interest in strengthening partnership ties and implementing joint investment projects, emphasizing the importance of further developing trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Slovenia.
