Uzbekistan slips three places in FIFA ranking
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
FIFA, world football governing body, announced its new ranking of national teams. In line with it, Uzbekistan national team moved three places down and now is on the 76th place in FIFA ranking.
Despite victories over North Korea and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan’s points in the ranking fell from 452 to 449.
Uzbekistan is on the sixth place among the Asian nations. Japan (19th place in the world), Australia (22), South Korea (32), Iran (45) and China (72) are above Uzbekistan.
Spain continues to top FIFA ranking, while the Netherland is on the second place and Germany is on the third.
