Uzbekistan slips 14 places down in FIFA ranking
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams.
Uzbekistan national team moved 12 places down in new ranking and now holds 62nd place in the world.
Uzbekistan is the sixth best team in the FIFA ranking among Asian countries. Iran (30th place), Sout Korea (37), Japan (45), Australia (48) and Saudi Arabia (56) are ahead of Uzbekistan among AFC members.
Argentina topped the FIFA ranking. Brazil and Germany share the second and third places respectively.
