During the meeting, the Uzbek side informed the guests on development and reforms of tourism sector in Uzbekistan, as well as rich historic potential and historic-cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.

The sides considered perspective directions of cooperation to attract tourists from the Southern-Eastern Asia via Singapore.

Singaporean Ambassador highly rated reforms in Uzbekistan. He said that the Singaporean delegation is planning to visit Uzbekistan in September-October to boost pilgrimage tourism to Uzbekistan.

The Uzbek tourism proposed to organize the visit on 5-7 October during Tashkent International Tourism Fair.
