Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Management bodies of apartment buildings are now exempt from the preliminary payment of state fees when filing a lawsuit to recover outstanding debts through the court.
This change was made possible by a law signed by the President of Uzbekistan, which amends several legislative acts aimed at simplifying the procedure for recovering utility payments through judicial authorities.
The law also establishes a list of documents that must be attached to the application for a court order to recover mandatory payments from the owners of apartment building units.
Furthermore, the management bodies of apartment buildings will no longer be required to pay the state fee in advance when seeking the recovery of debts through the court.
In the case of partial or complete rejection of their claims, the state fee will be recovered proportionally to the amount of the unmet claims.
