The amendments to the instruction were introduced in line with the resolution of the Board of the Central Bank, Norma.uz reported.

According to the amendments, the commercial banks of Uzbekistan have no right to request additional documents, other than those specified in the instructions. Earlier, the banks have right to request additional documents in line with the legislation.

The resolution also excluded from the instruction a norm according to which legal entities after opening the main account had the right to open secondary deposit account in national and foreign currencies at other banks and should notify the tax office about it.

To open the deposit account in the national currency, the legal entities – residents, which are not business entities, as well as recipients of funds from the budget, should submit to the bank a document confirming registration with tax authorities in addition to other documents.

It is also determined that the signature card and sample of the stamp will be filled if the business entity has stamp.
