Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development, the Ministry of Culture and the Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region (ICHCAP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The Memorandum provides for holding and participation in cultural, handicraft, gastronomic, music and other international festivals, organizing workshops and distribution of videos about tourism potential of Uzbekistan and intangible cultural heritage of the country, as well as joint production of catalogues, books and handouts.
Uzbekistan specialists attended training courses organized by ICHCAP and contributed to scientifically based documentation process of intangible cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.
