Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s delegation is participating in the prominent international tourism exhibition Ferien Messe Wien, held annually in January in Vienna.

This event is one of the leading gatherings in the tourism industry, showcasing current trends in the sector.

Ferien Messe Wien hosts over 800 representatives from the tourism business across 80 countries. Uzbekistan is represented by a national stand organized by the Tourism Committee with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Vienna. Exhibition visitors are introduced to the traditions, customs, and rich culture of Uzbekistan.

The Uzbek stand is staffed by representatives from the Tourism Committee and local companies, including Rocket Uzbekistan, Sonder Voyage, and Global Tour. The delegation is conducting meetings with international partners to discuss cooperation opportunities and to promote Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, aiming to increase the flow of visitors to the country. The exhibition also features diverse cultural performances, showcasing the unique traditions of Uzbekistan.

The event will run until 19 January 2025.
