Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A business forum was held in Karachi, Pakistan’s largest economic hub, at the “Made in Uzbekistan” trade house. The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with support from the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan and the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

More than 30 Uzbek entrepreneurs participated in the forum, presenting their products, services, and investment proposals. The event also saw active involvement from representatives of Pakistan’s business community, covering a wide range of economic sectors.

The forum featured a large-scale presentation highlighting Uzbekistan’s economic potential, investment climate, export capabilities, and logistical advantages. The ongoing economic reforms in Uzbekistan and the favorable conditions being created for foreign investors sparked strong interest among the participants.

Following the forum, B2B meetings were organized between Uzbek and Pakistani entrepreneurs. The discussions focused on promising areas of cooperation, particularly in the textile, leather and footwear, medical, and construction industries.

Additionally, both sides reached preliminary agreements on strengthening cooperative ties between entrepreneurs, establishing joint ventures, and carrying out export-import operations.
