Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 February 2024, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubayev and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said in a statement.

 Bakhtiyor Saidov said that, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Uzbek side is ready to provide the necessary assistance to the Kyrgyz Republic in connection with the accident at the Bishkek thermal power plant.

In particular, as assistance, the Uzbek side announced the sending of liquefied gas cylinders from Andijan to the city of Osh.

In turn, the head of the foreign policy department of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubayev expressed sincere gratitude for the readiness to provide fraternal humanitarian assistance.
