Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the period from January to November 2024, Uzbekistan sold 374,989 cars, according to the press service of Uzavtosanoat.
The data reveals that UzAuto Motors holds the largest market share at 88.5%, with 331,746 cars sold. The second-largest seller was ADM Jizzakh, with 26,786 cars sold, accounting for 7.1% of the market. The third place went to BYD Uzbekistan Factory, which sold 15,442 cars, holding a 4.1% share.
Other companies such as Jizzakh Auto, Asaka Motors, and SamAuto also participate in the market, but each holds less than 0.1% of the share. In the reporting period, these companies sold 380, 375, and 260 cars, respectively.
Among brands, Chevrolet led the sales with 331,746 vehicles sold in the first 11 months of 2024. The top five also included KIA (17,344 cars), BYD (15,442), Chery (6,716), and Haval (2,726).
The most popular vehicle in the Uzbek market was the Chevrolet Cobalt, with 120,499 units sold.
Other best-selling models included Chevrolet Damas (96,085), Chevrolet Tracker (35,925), Chevrolet Onix (32,427), Chevrolet Labo (23,643), and Chevrolet Lacetti (18,269).
The top ten most popular models also featured KIA Sonet (6,416 cars), BYD Song Plus Champion DMI (5,914), BYD Chazor (3,984), and Chery Tiggo 7 PRO (3,252).
