Uzbekistan seize 34 kg of drugs
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The National Security Service of Uzbekistan seized 6 kg of heroin and 28 kg of hashish during a range of special operations against the spread of narcotics.
A group of drug dealers were detained for smuggling the narcotics from Tajikistan into Uzbekistan to further transport them to Kazakhstan and Russia.
Four men and a woman were detained during the operation.
Criminal cases have been opened against all these detainees.
