Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan, 5,472 Pakistani citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes between January and December 2024. This marks an increase of 1,516 visitors (or 38.3%) compared to the same period of last year.

The primary reasons for visits by Pakistani citizens in 2024 were as follows:

Tourism: 1,773 visitors

Business trips: 1,727 visitors

Education: 1,549 visitors

Commercial activities: 331 visitors

Visiting relatives: 92 visitors

The rise in Pakistani tourists reflects strengthening tourism and business ties between the two countries, as well as growing interest in Uzbekistan’s cultural and educational opportunities.
