Uzbekistan security service seizes 9 kg heroin
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan National Security Service detained Uzbek national in an attempt to smuggle 9 kg of heroin to Kazakhstan, RIA Novosti reported.
Uzbek citizen, working as ambulance driver in Tashkent district of Tashkent regions, was detained near Uzbek-Kazakh border. During the inspection of ambulance of Damas brand, the law enforcement bodies found drug substances, which were hidden in bags.
Express analyze showed that the drug is heroin and its weight is 9 kg, the report said.
