Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 28 February to 6 March 2019, a delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan composed of the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communication (MICT) and Ministry of Innovations visited the Russian Federation.
From 2 to 6 March, in the city of Moscow, the delegation of MICT headed by First Deputy Minister for the development of information technologies of communications, Olimjon Umarov, held a number of meetings with Russian specialized departments, organizations and companies.
During the visit, perspective cooperation and partnerships were established with the Association of Clusters and Technoparks of Russia, the Skolkovo IT cluster, leading IT companies, and the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation.
Agreements were reached on organizing training for MITC and IT-Park in Tashkent at the Skolkovo Business School, attracting Skolkovo venture partners to IT-Park for the development of promising start-up projects.
Following the visit, memorandums of understanding were signed between the MICT and Russian specialized organizations and companies for cooperation and joint implementation of promising projects in the field of information and communication technologies.
The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation expressed readiness for further mutually beneficial cooperation in the training and development of personnel, development of logistics and postal services, the digital economy, the formation of digital content and in many other areas.
