The Russian side was represented Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and State Secretary Grigory Karasin and the Uzbek side included Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Norov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Islamov.

The sides exchanged opinion on regional issues, bilateral relations and interactions of the countries at international arena.

The sides also discussed draft programme on cooperation between Foreign Affairs Ministries of Russia and Uzbekistan for 2011.

On 3 November, Uzbek President Islam Karimov received Grigory Karasin, the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry Said.
