Uzbekistan rowing team wins gold of Canoe and Rowing World Cup in Milan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Members of Uzbekistan Yuliya Tsoy and Ekaterina Zarkova won the first stage of the Canoe and Rowing World Cup in Milan, Italy.

They claimed the gold medal in the Rowing competition among women’s doubles to 500 meters.

Yuliya Tsoy also won a bronze medal in the Rowing competition among women’s singles.

The second stage of the World Cup will be held in the Czech Republic, on 15-18 May 2014. Eight representatives of Uzbekistan will participate in the event.
