Uzbekistan representatives take part in Sambhav 2018

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An international event of inclusive art SAMBHAV 2018 was held in Delhi, organized by the Association for Study of Performing Arts and Regulatory Action (A.L.P.A.N.A.) with the support of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).

It is important to note that the main participants of the event are people with disabilities who, despite this, represent their skills in all areas of modern art.

Along with representatives from Uzbekistan, artists and masters from Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Vietnam, India, Iran, Kenya, Myanmar, Mauritius, Mongolia, Nepal, Russia, Tajikistan, Thailand, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom took part in the forum. They presented such areas of art as music, dance, painting, playing musical instruments, yoga and applied art.

The delegation Uzbekistan was represented by the master of the Association of Artisans of Uzbekistan Jasur Jumayev and the famous jeweler Bobur Dadamukhamedov. An exhibition of works of Uzbek masters was presented within the forum.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, ICCR Director-General Riva Ganguly Das said that in recent years Sambhav has become a major international event in the field of art in India. Since 2006, it has provided an opportunity to support and promote talented people with disabilities on the world stage.

Exhibitors and guests highly appreciated the talent and skill of our compatriots. In particular, Alpana Nayak, director of the Association for the Study of Performing Arts and Regulatory Action “ALPANA”, said in an interview with the IA “Dunyo” that holding such international events opens a new platform for demonstrating the talents of people with disabilities.

-Unique works of Uzbek participants, imbued with love for their homeland, do not leave indifferent any visitor to this exhibition. “We are always glad to see talented people from Uzbekistan participate in cultural events organized by our association,” she shared.

Master Jasur Jumayev: - In my opinion, the participation of representatives of Uzbekistan in such events contributes to familiarization with our rich culture and traditions, and also contributes to the strengthening of friendly relations between different nations.
