Central Bank issued licenses to for carrying out activity of pawnshops to Avista Platina lombard (Termiz), Shahruza kredit (Tashkent), Billur tong yulduzi (Gijduvan district of Bukhara region), Sergeli kredit (Tashkent), and Kristal kredit (Tashkent).

The press service of the Central Bank said that licenses were issued in line with the article 50 of the law “On Central Bank of Uzbekistan”.

In line with existing order, pawnshops will issue loans to customers under security of the movables, the regulator noted.

According to the Central Bank, currently 58 pawnshops operate in Uzbekistan.
