Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The volume of cross-border transfers received in Uzbekistan made up US$2.4 billion, decreasing by US$156 million or 6% compared to the same period of the previous year. This was reported by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
The volume of sent foreign currency funds reached US$427 million, which is less than the same period of last year by US$40 million or 9%.
As a result, the surplus on cross-border transfers reached US$2 billion, which is US$116 million (or 5%) less than in the same period of last year.
