According to the Russian regulator, some US$21 million were transferred from Uzbekistan to Russia in the second quarter of 2016 against US$98 million in the same period of 2015.
The sum of one transaction from Russia to Uzbekistan fell from US$444 in the second quarter of 2015 to US$433 in April-June 2016 and from Uzbekistan to Russia – from US$1,495 to US$1,172.
The volume of remittances, transferred from Russia to Uzbekistan, made up US$256 million in the first quarter of 2016 (US$463 million in 1Q 2015) and vise-versa – US$27 million (US$151 million).
The Central Bank of Russia monitors such money transfer systems as Anelik, BLIZKO, Contact, InterExpress, UNIStream, Western Union, Kolibri, Zolotaya Korona, LIDER, and Pochta Rossii.
