The largest number of objects was privatized in Tashkent city (21.9% of the total objects privatized in Uzbekistan), Tashkent region (18.7%), Ferghana region (12.5%) and Surkhandarya region (9.3%).
In the structure of privatized state property, the highest share falls to objects of the local authorities (43.7%), Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management (9.4%), Ministry of Health (6.3%) and Ministry of National Education (6.3%).
Receipts of money from privatization and decentralization reached 10.8 billion soums in January-March 2009.
The most part of receipts was received from privatization of objects in Tashkent city (34.8% of total monetary means received from decentralization and privatization), Tashkent region (23%), Samarkand region (15.2%) and Ferghana region (6.4%).
