Uzbekistan re-announces tender on construction of small hydro power station
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan re-announced a tender on construction of small hydro power station at Ertashsay river in Tashkent region.

In line with tender terms, the winner of the tender will be provided with equipment, purchased in established order, for further assembling on turnkey basis and commissioning of the object.

Interested sides should submit their tender proposals till 6 February 2010. In line with the tender terms, the works should be completed after 540 days after the contract signed. Uzbekistan earlier announced tender on construction of the station in October 2010.

The starting price makes up 14,290,185,000 soums with VAT and 11,908,487,500 soums without VAT, the tender announcement said.

The construction works will be carried out due to realization of electricity, produced at hydro power stations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of Uzbekistan.

Hydro power station at Ertashsay river is constructed at natural waterway. The installed capacity of the station will be 2.2 megawatt and it will produce 15 million kilowatt-hour electricity a year.
