Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed the law "On the Ratification of the International Labour Organization Convention No. 175 on Work with Reduced Hours (Geneva, on 24 June 1994)."

This convention, already ratified by 20 countries, aims to ensure appropriate working conditions for part-time workers and protect them from discrimination in terms of wages and social security.

It applies to all workers employed on a part-time basis, guaranteeing them equal rights and the same level of social protection as full-time workers.
