Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Uzbekistan has ranked first in the Safety Perception Index, which includes 121 countries.

According to the ranking, the level of danger to the life and movement of citizens in Uzbekistan is minimal.

The top five safest countries also include the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Norway, and Estonia.

Among Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan ranked 14th, Tajikistan 17th, and Kyrgyzstan 26th.

The lowest positions in the ranking were taken by Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Mali.

The Safety Perception Index focuses on five factors: food and water, violent crime, adverse weather conditions, mental health, and workplace safety. These factors serve as a crucial basis for shaping the image that forms the foundation of the country safety rankings.

Uzbekistan’s top position in this ranking creates a foundation for the seamless arrival and departure of foreign tourists to and from the country.
