Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan took 80th place in the updated Passport Index by Henley & Partners based on the results of the first quarter of 2024.

The Henley & Partners Passport Index analyzes the visa rules of nearly 200 countries and territories around the world and ranks them by the number of visa-free countries.

The Henley & Partners company carefully studied the visa regulations of all countries and territories and compiled a rating of countries in the world according to the level of freedom of movement, i.e. the number of other countries that citizens of the specified country can visit without a visa.

According to the index, citizens of Uzbekistan can visit 62 countries of the world without a visa.

First place in the ranking was taken by France, Italy, Germany, Japan and Singapore (194 countries). Finland, South Korea and Sweden (193 countries) are in second place,
