The decision was adopted in line with the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov “On forecast of main macroeconomic figures and parameters of State Budget of Uzbekistan for 2013”.

According to the document, the rate of tax for individuals for consumption of automobile fuel, diesel and gas will grow by 40 soums and reach 240 soums. The growth of tax will hike prices for automobile fuels.

Currently, the price of a liter of Ai-80 gasoline is 1,605 soums, Ai-91 – 1,770 soums and Ai-95 – 1,955 soums. Last time, gasoline prices rose in Uzbekistan on 1 January 2012.
