Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Starting from 1 November, a new social limit on natural gas consumption for households will take effect for the heating season, as reported by the company Hududgaztaminot.

For November through February, the social gas allowance will be set at 500 cubic meters, with a rate of 650 soums per cubic meter within this limit.

For usage between 501 and 2,500 cubic meters, the cost will rise to 1,500 soums per cubic meter. For consumption between 2,501 and 5,000 cubic meters, the rate will be 1,950 soums, and between 5,001 and 10,000 cubic meters, it will be 2,275 soums.

If monthly gas usage exceeds 10,001 cubic meters, the price will increase to 2,600 soums per cubic meter.

Additionally, a social allowance of 200 kWh per month for electricity remains in place year-round.
