Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 March, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held talks with Chief Business Development Officer of the Qatari company Nebras Power Faisal Obaid Al Siddiqi.

The parties reviewed the preparation of projects for the construction of thermal power plants in Syrdarya and Surkhandarya regions with a total capacity of 3.1 GW.

Nebras Power was founded in 2014 with the headquarters in Doha (Qatar). The company specializes in the implementation of projects in the energy and water industries. Assets are worth US$2.3 billion, the number of staff accounts for more than 600 people. The international presence of the Qatari company covers more than 8 countries of the world.
