Uzbekistan proposes creating a logistics hub for Uzbek goods in Khabarovsk

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A specialized distribution center for goods from Uzbekistan may be established in Khabarovsk.

This project was discussed at a recent meeting between Uzbekistan’s Consul General in Vladivostok, Yusup Kabiljanov, and the Governor of Khabarovsk Krai, Dmitry Demeshin.

The meeting also explored opportunities to boost trade turnover, organize business missions, and hold exhibitions of local products. Additionally, the parties discussed potential areas for cooperation in health care, education, sports, and tourism.

"We will work to enhance cooperation with Uzbekistan, as we believe its potential is not fully realized," noted Demeshin.

Yusup Kabiljanov expressed readiness to develop trade relations between Uzbekistan and the region. He believes that the agreements reached will help strengthen ties between the chambers of commerce and industry of both the republic and the region, organize business missions, and conduct product exhibitions.

One of the proposals includes the creation of a logistics hub in Khabarovsk for the centralized distribution of goods from Uzbekistan.
