Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Enterprises of Uzbekistan produced more than 84,740 passenger cars (excluding specialized ones) in January-March 2024, which is 56.35% more than the same period in 2023, according to data from the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan.

In January-March 2024, UzAuto Motors produced 28,356 Cobalt cars (an increase of 59.5% compared to 2023), 8,811 Gentra (a decrease of 20.9%), 18,996 Damas (an increase of 12. 7%), 12,025 – Tracker (7.2 times growth) and 8,338 – Onix (14.9 times growth).

Also, during this period, 2,990 Chery cars were produced (an increase of 3.5 times), 4,980 of KIA (an increase of 1.5 times), 38 of EXEED and 205 of Haval.

Enterprises of Uzbekistan also produced 6,317 specialized passenger cars, which is 1.7% higher compared to the same period in 2023.
