Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2024, enterprises in Uzbekistan manufactured 82.5 million pairs of footwear, according to the Uzcharmsanoat Association.

The association reports that leather production in the country totaled 545.8 million square decimeters over the past year.

The total output of the leather and footwear industry in Uzbekistan amounted to 3.6 trillion soums in 2024.

Specifically, the production of leather goods reached 164.1 billion soums.

Additionally, the output of fur products and karakul exceeded 3.6 billion soums.

Gelatin production amounted to 188 billion soums.
