Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-October 2023, Uzbekistan produced 63.02 billion kWh of electricity, according to data from the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan.

According to the agency, the growth in electricity production compared to the same period in 2023 was 5.1%.

Enterprises in Uzbekistan reduced thermal energy generation by 6.8% in the reporting period – to 19.06 million Gcal.

In January-October 2023, Uzbekistan produced 55.88 million cubic meters of gas from underground coal gasification compared to 67.81 million cubic meters for the same period in 2022.
