Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 31 July, an international presentation seminar dedicated to the 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), one of China’s largest and most prestigious trade exhibitions, was held in Tashkent.

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Dilshod Rasulov, representatives of the business community, industry associations, government agencies, and the diplomatic corps.

Opening the seminar, Dilshod Rasulov highlighted the dynamic development of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, noting that the Canton Fair serves as a vital platform for domestic entrepreneurs to access the vast Chinese market.

Mr. Liu Xiaomin delivered a keynote address, providing an overview of the fair’s history and current format, the conditions for participation, and the opportunities available to exhibitors both online and offline. He invited Uzbek companies to actively take advantage of this platform, stressing that special conditions and support tools are available for them.

During the seminar, representatives of the two countries’ business communities exchanged views and discussed prospects for strengthening trade and economic ties, as well as the implementation of new joint projects.
