Uzbekistan Pochtasi launches postal stamp for Guangzhou Asian Games

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Pochtasi open joint stock company in cooperation with the Uzbek Agency for Communication and Informatization (UzACI) introduced into circulation new postal stamps “The Sixteenth Asian Games. China (Guangzhou)”.

The Sixteenth Asian Games in Guangzhou will be held on 12-27 November 2010. Over 10,000 athletes will participate in 42 sports.

The postal stamp displays boxing bout. The stamp has official logo of the Games in right top corner and inscription in Uzbek language “16-OSIYO O‘YINLARI, XITOY (GUANCHJOU)” (The Sixteenth Asian Games. China (Guangzhou)”.

The postal stamp is multicolor. It was produced with offset printing. The size of the stamp is 42x30mm. The circulation of the stamp is 20,000 copies.
