The company said that Universal Postal Union, UNAIDS and International Labour Organization started to attract public to methods of preventing HIV/AIDS. International Bureau offered to issue memorable stamps to recall that AIDS virus was discovered 30 years ago.

Uzbekistan Pochtasi said it issued the stamp to implement this initiative. The stamp pictured red ribbon – international symbol of solidarity with HIV-infected people. The right side of the stamp has inscription “30 years to fight against AIDS”.

The Uzbek company said that it issued 20,000 copies of the stamp, which has the size of 30x42mm.
