Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Uzbekistan plans to increase electricity generation by 40 billion kilowatt-hours by 2026. This goal is set in the draft roadmap for the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026.
As a result, Uzbekistan will annually generate 110 billion kilowatt-hours by 2026, the document says.
At the same time, the share of renewable sources in the total volume of electricity generation will reach 25%.
