Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Minister of Justice Khudayor Meliev, head of the cooperation department of the EU delegation to Uzbekistan Vim Riepma and the acting permanent representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Uzbekistan Anas Karman held a meeting.

At the meeting, the results of the implementation of the joint project “Improving the provision of public services in rural areas of Uzbekistan and increasing the level of management” in 2023 were discussed.

Wim Riepma and Anas Karman positively assessed the results achieved within the project and expressed their readiness to continue working in this direction with the Ministry of Justice.

A presentation was made reflecting the project’s achievements in 2023 and plans for 2024. Deputy Minister of Justice Khudayor Meliev noted that a lot of positive work has been carried out within the framework of the project, but there are still unsolved tasks that need to be completed this year.
