ÐœÐµrcedes-Benz Conecto Low Floor

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan plans to purchase 300 Mercedes Benz buses in 2009 in line with technical modernization plan. It is expected that 200 buses will be used in Tashkent and other 100 will run in regional centers of Uzbekistan.

Toshshahartranshiznat (Tashkent city transport service) Association acquired 200 ÐœÐµrcedes-Benz Conecto Low Floor buses in 2008 in line with agreement with EvoBus GmbH. Uzbekistan Reconstruction and Development Fund financed the purchase of 200 buses with credit allocated for 10 years.

It is expected that EvoBus GmbH will supply equipment and special tools for 400,000 euros for free of charge. Equipment and tools will be used to equip Mercedes Benz service center.
