Uzbekistan permits to privatize military convoys
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a law “On Amendments to Article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the denationalization and privatization” on 13 April 2011.
The law provides possibility of denationalization and privatization of military convoys by presidential resolution of Uzbekistan.
Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan passed the law on 23 December 2011 and Senate approved it on 25 March 2011.
The privatization of the objects will allow to equip convoys with modern equipment and rational use of existing vehicles.
