Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 2 July, the 12th meeting of transport ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states was held in Tianjin, China.

The meeting was chaired by Liu Wei, Minister of Transport of the People’s Republic of China.

A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by First Deputy Minister of Transport Mamanbi Omarov, took part in the event.

During the meeting, participants discussed further expansion of transport connectivity among SCO countries, active development of international logistics corridors, removal of barriers in the sector, and the implementation of digital solutions to improve the efficiency of transport infrastructure.
