International expert, President of Singapore Rowing Association and Representative of referees commission of the Asian Federation, FISA referees’ commission member Nicholas Ee was invited to hold the seminar.

The event will allow local specialists to improve their knowledge on organization and refereeing. It will focus on new changes to the charter of FISA, refereeing rules, liabilities of referees and technical specialists, refereeing system, etc.

Some 35 referees and specialists from Uzbekistan are attended the event. The participants will receive certificates, signed by IOC President Jacques Rogge and Uzbekistan NOC President Mirabrar Usmanov.

In October 2013, they will participate in examination and those, who will pass exams, will become international referees.
