Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Wrestlers from Uzbekistan completed their participation in the Asian Championship in Kyrgyzstan.

Domestic Greco-Roman wrestler Muhammadkodir Rasulov (-82 kg) defeated Rohit Dahiya from India in the fight for third place and added another bronze medal to our country’s treasury.

Thus, our compatriots won 2 silver and 5 bronze awards at these competitions. Medalists:

-86 kg: Djavrail Shapiev (freestyle wrestling)
-92 kg: Sherzod Poyonov (freestyle wrestling)

Bronze:
-79 kg: Asomiddin Khasanov (freestyle wrestling)
-72 kg: Abdullo Aliyev (Greco-Roman wrestling)
-77 kg: Doniyorkhon Nabikov (Greco-Roman wrestling)
-82 kg: Muhammadkodir Rasulov (Greco-Roman wrestling)
-87 kg: Rakhimjon Uzokov (Greco-Roman wrestling)

Now, from 19 to 21 April, the Paris 2024 licensed tournament will take place in Kyrgyzstan. Representatives of the Uzbekistan national team will also compete for Olympic berths there.
