Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan’s national tennis team will play against the Serbian team on 1-2 February in the Davis Cup playoff match in Tashkent.

The Uzbek team included Denis Istomin, Humoyun Sultonov, Sergey Fomin, Sanjar Fayziev and Jurabek Karimov.

The Serbian national team will fly to Tashkent with the following squad: Dusan Layovic, Filip Krajinovic, Laszlo Jere, Nikola Milojevic and Victor Troitski.

It is worth noting that the Davis Cup will be held in a new format from this year. According to the new rules, 24 teams will play in the qualifying round, 12 winning teams will guarantee themselves direct passes to the main draw of the tournament, matches will be held in November. Losers will return to the continental qualifying zones.
