Uzbekistan Football Federation said that coaches invited 26 players to training camp, but only 23 of them will play in Qatar. Final list of players will be submitted to AFC by 3 January 2011.
The federation said that Vitaliy Denis of Dnepro (Ukraine) could not participate in the AFC Asian Cup due to knee injury.
Uzbekistan will stay in the UAE till 3 January and hold two friendly matches against Syria (29 December) and Jordan (2 January).
Uzbekistan will start the AFC Asian Cup campaign with the match against hosts Qatar on 7 January 2010.
