Uzbekistan national team arrives in Kuwait for friendly match
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A delegation of Uzbekistan, which included representatives of national team and U-23 team on football, arrived in Kuwait. Uzbekistan will play a friendly match against Kuwait on 17 January, Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF) said.
Uzbekistan team held its first training on 16 January. The team also participated in theoretic lessons, the UFF added.
The federation said that Uzbekistan head coach Vadim Abramov changed squad. Abbosbek Mahstaliev, Lutfulla Turaev and Pavel Smolyachenko did not travel to Kuwairt, while Davron Hashimov and Jahangir Mehmanov will join the club in the United Arab Emirates.
The match between Uzbekistan and Kuwait will kick off at 19:30 Tashkent time. After the match, Uzbekistan will head to the UAE.
